Subversives seen taking photos of lamp post
If it's not the traffic wardens it's the coppers! As reported in The Sun.
Three subversive schoolboys, Danny Finn, 12, George Supple, 13, and Michael Fern, 13, in a fit of madness pull out a mobile phone/camera and take a photo of a lamp post. Shocking!
As a citizen of this fine land, I am reassureed to learn the police take a dim view of such incidents. Two community police officers arrived on the scene. They assessed the situation. They spoke to the boys and issued Danny with paperwork. It reads: “Reason for stop: ‘Was seen taking photos of lamp post – spoken to.’”
Talk about Police Lite!

Good on the police! Lamposts one day, happy slapping the next!...;-)
Finn, Fern and Supple....has a nice ring to it - they should from a gang.
I remember the days when I used to go lampost spotting. (FF quietly reminisces)
Do you know, I wonder to myself sometimes about the nature of friendship....
See if we didn't know Finny, we'd think he was a bit odd, right? But we do know him. So we love his rather random idiosyncracies...
However, in this case Finn you may be pushing it mate!!!!!!!! :-D
And you're getting worse Span! :-D
When they grow up, they should set up a knocking shop called Finn, Fern and Supple! (Sounds very Scandinavian)....
Birching specialists...
Just one question.
Why were they taking a photo of a lampost? Worj initials my arse. No one's actually asked the key question have they. The fact that the lamppost was in front of the MOD seems to have escaped everyone's attention.
But I am a bit odd, Gavin.;-)
fec, If he hasn't told you yet I can help.
If anything will get Gavin back it's the thought of me helping someone more than him...;-)
:-0
I wonder if the lamp post was offended?
