Word on the street has it that Her Majesty has been taking a pretty dim view of Gordon Brown's attitude towards the English. Obviously her customary dignity precludes her openly commenting, however there is something in her demeanour which has led royal insiders to comment that she is not amused.

Span, I think Her Majesty looks most fetching in England colours in a kind of Teutonic way...
Emperor, we all know Her Majesty does't carry cash - so she's had to blag the gear...you have to take what you can get.

She is supposed to be the quuen of the UK. If fhse uses her position to put forward anti Scottish views then she should be beheaded.
