It's the way the eyes follow you...

You know I like a bit of art, well, what makes it special is the way a static image seems to "live". You know, the way the eyes follow you round the room and you sort of imagine the picture is pulling faces behind your back.

But that would be silly, wouldn't it?

When I went to the Louvre (oo-errr) many years ago I was shocked by how tiny old Mona is. It must have been small because I saw it through a crowd of Japanese sailors and they were tiny too so no Lord of the Rings forced perspective trickery either. It's about... that big... by that big I would guess.
