unless you're working in a non-linear fashion, as for example the novels of Joseph Conrad in which case the beginning isn't necessarily the best place. Boo to you too.

No Irish in me Gavin - unless that was a chat up line.
Scottish s my only Celtic bit. Although not my only European. My grandfather always believed himself to be Scottish despite neve having set foot in the place and closest he ever got being India. Odd how the Empire worked.
